Professional Experience

Ms. Perez-Martinez practices primarily in the business and community association litigation practice groups. Her litigation experience includes the areas of condominium, homeowners association, and cooperative covenant enforcement; collections and foreclosures and other association-related matters in arbitration and court.  Additionally, she is experienced in handling commercial and residential foreclosures; nursing home negligence; medical malpractice; legal malpractice; errors and omissions for professionals including insurance agents/brokers and board members; automobile negligence; personal injury; and wrongful death. She has developed cases from inception through trial. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Perez-Martinez spent six years working in the mortgage industry providing underwriting services for the submission of loan packages to residential mortgage lenders.

Publications & Presentations

Ms. Perez-Martinez has also prepared materials for Continuing Legal Education Courses concerning Lawyer Advertising, Expert Witness examination, and Social Media. She has coordinated Claims Management seminars as well as given presentations and prepared mock trials for Claims Managers as part of their continuing education.  Additionally, Ms. Perez-Martinez has lectured on collections/foreclosures in the condominium, homeowners association and cooperative setting to association managers, Board members, and legal professionals. She has also given lectures through the Community Association Management Professionals (CAMP) Program at Palm Beach State College providing continuing education credits to community association managers.
